This area is also mislabeled...it should say, or might say, "Lowry neighborhood, former site of Lowry Air Force Base." The area is not closed now, it is a perfectly open, redeveloped neighborhood, with a range of owned and rented facilities from multi-million dollar homes to subsidized apartments. The so-called Military Dorm is apartments, the Wings Over the Rockies Museum is half the size it is shown here, the campus includes several community colleges, a Univ. of Northern Colorado buiding, medical and dental clinics, a Montessori school, etc., etc.

This designation is not correct. The Hilltop neighborhood stretches from Colorado Boulevard on the west to Holly Street on the east, not as shown here...where it reaches all the way to Quebec Street, at least in part. From Holly Street to Monaco Blvd, and from Sixth Avenue south to Bayaud Avenue, the neighborhood is called Crestmoor Park, like the Denver city park it contains. East of Monaco, around the old Whiteman School, I'm not sure.

Why do people always hate those who are the most miserable? A lot of those "bums" are insane or addicted to drugs and routinely lose appendages to frostbite, if not die of exposure, in the winter. What is the point in hating them?
